1. Using this app in conjunction with the TextLimit.com website gives you the ability to use the Alert Notifications built into the iPhone to display Alert messages when the phone is moving above a user-selected speed.

2. The TextLimit app provides the ability to geo-locate the enrolled phone on a map anytime there is a GPS signal and an Internet connection.

3. You (the administrator) determine the minimum speed at which you want the user-configured Alert Notifications to appear.

4. "TextLimit will track the user's GPS location,Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life".

5. When the phone exceeds the speed you set, Alert Notifications will appear.

6. TextLimit will work anywhere in the world where there is a GPS signal and the user has an Internet connection.

7. Once the phone falls below your selected speed the Alerts will cease.

8. Since the app uses the internal GPS, the user may see some decreased battery life between charges.

9. The user must agree to allow the app to utilize the location of the device.

10. TextLimit.com is designed to save lives by limiting distractions while driving.

11. You may always make a 911 call or use the Traffic Information even when the Notifications are being presented.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Text Limit"
The search will reveal the Text Limit app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Text Limit is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Text Limit.
Now enjoy Text Limit on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Text Limit,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Text Limit" » then Click "Install".
- Text Limit will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Doesn't work well

I installed this app on my iphone, and tested it. It was hard to setup. When I was driving it would constantly ding and a banner would appear, but i was still able to send texts. Also if I powered my phone down and powered up again, the app stopped working and had to be activated again. What teen wouldn't try that. Also if you delete the app a teen could the app while driving and maybe be able to reinstall before he got home and most parents would not be the wiser.
Great app and easy to use + 1 idea

This is a great app, I am trying to encouraging the rest of my friends and family to use it as well. What I would like to see though is an option that can be turned in and off, that when turned on while driving would send an automatic the app message reply to any incoming texts and would say something like "The person you are trying to reach currently has this app engaged on their phone while driving. Please be safe and do not the app and drive." Or something sort of message like that, that would automatically send.
Customer service won't help

Can't get any of the functions of the app to work. Not the the app blocker, not the GPS tracker. I've tried emailing customer service twice in 2 weeks and they won't respond. I think the company went under. Apple should take this app off...
