Needs simplification

Perhaps more bells and whistles are encouraged in Hong Kong. I think a simple mode or perhaps a second simpler app which just does flight notification, sticking to standard UI, would be fantastic. Five stars for the lag free notifications, but minus 2 stars for the complexity and unintuitive UI.

An app written by someone who’s never been to an airport? Trying to simply find a restaurant close to where you are seems impossible. The map view asks what level you are on and gives a choice L1 through L7 as if passengers saw somehow know this! Please come back after you’ve looked at airport maps online that actually WORK and have real accessible information! You might even try to watch people use the app and learn from that, rather than trust a developer explain all the bells and whistles the app has with the poorest user interface I’ve ever tried to use! Scrap it and start over with someone who knows what travelers need and how to simply access the information most searched for.
Simplify app & reduce notifications

UPDATE: with the latest version saving and tracking flights, the main use case for this app, doesn’t even work anymore. At core, a useful app, but overloaded with features and not designed well to handle this clutter (in terms of speed as well as interface). My biggest gripe is that it sends you way, way too many push notifications. I want to get updates for my saved flights, that's it. I understand to incentive to push ads and announcements, though I think that should be something you can opt out of. But what's in it for HKIA to insist on sending me weekly notifications about how full the parking lots are, with no way to turn them off? I can't even drive!
Garbage

An app that tries to be everything to everyone but fails. It gave me a notification that I should proceed to gate when the flight hasn’t even started boarding. Similarly notifications about boarding whereas I assure you that the flight won’t be boarding for at least 30 minutes. (So this app doesn’t actually pull any real time data). Can’t clear in app spam messages meaning you either have to click the crap and see the spam or not use be app. Can’t locate important places using search - I want to get to lounges, specific restaurants, gates. Overall avoid this app. Had to google to find out where Zara was. Had to google go find the Skyteam lounge. Bravo the app! You’ve motivated me to erase this horrible app from my phone.
