Install NJ Rails app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using NJ Rails on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "NJ Rails"
- The search will reveal the NJ Rails app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once NJ Rails is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including NJ Rails.
- Now enjoy NJ Rails on PC.

- Easy to use interface
- Incorporates PATH as part of the app seamlessly
- Convenient for tracking train schedules
☹ Cons:
- Cannot reorder entries on the main screen
- Cannot name entries for easier identification
- Confusing options to control the app, such as deleting entries
- Inaccurate information on the midday LR service to Hoboken, including incorrect pickup times and failure to reflect necessary transfers

Good but like to see some minor enhancements.

Thanks for this convenient app. It would be great if i could reorder the entries on the main screen. Also, I’d like to be able to name the entries. For example, the entry for a specific train is named “train # 123”, I’d like to change to “NB 4:40 55 min” to indicate that it’s a train leaving from the NB station at 4:40 that takes 55 min to arrive at my destination. When you have many trains on the screen, it’s hard to remember which train is which train. Thanks!

I've been using this app forever, and it's very good. I feel like the previous version was a little better in that it was easier to set the X to Y route that I use 99% of the time; also I find it confusing now, and options to control the app, to delete things for example, are very difficult to figure out. Still, an excellent app.

Works great easy to use

I was using iTrans the app Transit until it suddenly stopped working. I find this app works better and has an easier interface. And I like the fact it incorporates path as part of the app seamlessly.

Great interface — wrong info

The info on the schedule is wrong for the midday LR service to Hoboken coming in from the north. The pickup times are inaccurate and the schedule doesn’t reflect the fact that you must transfer at Newport.
Other than that this app is fantastic. Can’t wait to use it when updated and will certainly be back to give a 5 star rating.
