Download an Android emulator for PC:

Using Fission on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Fission"
The search will reveal the Fission app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Fission is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Fission.
Now enjoy Fission on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Fission,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Fission" » then Click "Install".
- Fission will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Amazingly useful app

There have been countless times I have wanted to trim an MP3 or AAC file losslessly. This app does it right every time!
Audio Swiss Army knife

I bought this app for a large project where I had several 90 minute vocal recordings that I needed to cut out the empty audio spaces between each talking section while maintaining the same audio quality and not recompressing when saving. It worked simply and brilliantly for this. It took about 5-10 minutes to figure out. After using it for that simple project I've found myself using more of it's features for other things like breaking apart live musical recordings for iTunes and other little things that come up that I would have previously had to go through hoops to do. It's simple, quick and efficient. It's not a full featured audio editing suite - and that's what I love about it. I can do 90% of the things I need to do with audio files with Fissions' feature set. If you need to do simple audio editing, or clean up recordings and tags for iTunes you can't beat this software. I would only ask that the developers consider making a version of this app for video files. That would be a killer app.
Can’t say enough good things about this app

First of all, if you are looking for an MP3 editor, this is the only one to get. Don’t waste your time looking at anything else. Seriously. this app has changed my world as far as editing long form MP3 files goes. I routinely need to record 1+ hour sessions straight to MP3 and this app makes it so easy to trim, fade in, fade out, export sections, add tags and transcode to another format. It does it super quick and if you are saving in the format you originally edited in, there is absolutely zero loss of quality for the most part. Only the parts where you fade or change levels have to be re-encoded. I usually don’t do app reviews, but this one is such a great one that I had to do a review. Rogue Amoeba makes some awesome applications and utilities and ALL of them are tools that anyone who routinely works with audio needs to have. Do not balk at the price. Quality apps are worth every penny. This one is no exception. Great job, developer. Keep it up.
Quick, Clean, and Simple

This app is really saving me, as I just inherited the job of maintaining the digital music collection for my local Hall of Worship. Fisison is not for advanced audio editing – it is for making fast and simple edits to existing audio tracks without having to open an audio software suite or bother with iTunes. this app opens and operates VERY quickly, making it easy to batch convert WMA files to AIFF for importing into iTunes, losslessly cut or add a couple of seconds of silence to a track, adjust output volume, edit metadata tags, etc. I WISH this app would let you batch edit metadata tags for multiple files. Otherwise, everything that this app does, it seems to do very well.
