Install Dubstep SX app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Dubstep SX on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Dubstep SX"
- The search will reveal the Dubstep SX app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Dubstep SX is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Dubstep SX.
- Now enjoy Dubstep SX on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Dubstep SX,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Dubstep SX" » then Click "Install".
- Dubstep SX will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Fun, incomplete

This app is a bit perplexing. On one hand, there are elements of thoughtful design and usability that are very attractive. On the other, it is almost unplayable and is missing some really obvious features.
The included sounds are cool, and I like that the controls are right there on each channel for easy manipulation. But then you start to discover the problems:
- No user manual
- no way to change the tempo
- no midi control
- no way to substitute new sounds
- the samples do not play on a grid, synchronized , you have to hit the buttons at exactly the right time for them to line up
- the samples in each group are not exclusive
That last one needs some explanation. If you have one bass line going and you want to switch to another, you have to deactivate the old bass sample and activate the new one. This makes it really hard to simultaneously switch several parts of the song.
So while this app looks promising, it has a ways to go before any serious work can be done with it.
