  • None of the bloatware, all of the awesome!

    By ThatGoofyGuy (Pcmac user)

I had grown frustrated by all of the bloatware apple was putting into the standard music app. The GUI has become a complete unusable mess as of 8.4, and it's been the last straw for me. This app came highly recommended in online reviews, and I can easily see why! It just plays music, and that's all it does. It does it with a clean interface, and it even features a night mode! What a sigh of relief. EDIT: as of app version 2.5.3 there are a number of glitches that need to be addressed. Tracks are slower to start due to the app freezing up and this extends to the skip forward button as well. I have also experienced a few crashes as well. Also using the slider to move to a different time stamp in a track is sometimes glitched as well with an occasional app freeze. I have reduced my rating of the app from 5 stars to 3 stars as a result. The app is still the best designed out there, but there have been performance issues recently that will hopefully be fixed.
  • Needs an update

    By Drgrillo2112 (Pcmac user)

I used to love this app as an alternative to the native iOS music player, but it has become glitchy lately, probably due to recent iOS updates, and it needs an update itself. It has had some start-up issues, where I will tap a song to play, and it will either ignore me altogether, or will start the song, only to immediately stop the song and return to non-playing status. The other issues is that even though I have it set to only play downloaded music when not in WiFi, it has been ignoring that setting lately as well. Note: the app continues to be glitchy. The shuffle function doesn’t work.
  • App is what I was looking for, but...

    By JazzJazzJazzJazzJazz (Pcmac user)

I've only been using the app for a few weeks, but I really like the simple interface, artwork presentation and ease of use. But...there are a few things that are buggy. First when the filter is set to songs and I search for: I Can't Give, the search returns no matches after I type the apostrophe. If I back up and Search for: I Can, 2 versions of the song are found. The same issue occurs for "I've", but "I'll" (all without the double quotes) seems to work. When I clicked on the hyperlink to Report a Problem, the website can't be found so I can't even report the bug.I have noticed a few glitches as stated in other posts, but overall the interface is easy and quick to use. I really hope the developer is still supporting this app. Even with the bugs, I rated it as a 4 because it is very useful, just needs some tweeks here and there.
  • Great layout, need to fix playlist bug

By The Voice Of Treason (Pcmac user)

Let me start by saying this is a fantastic alternative to Apples music player for the iPhone. Much easier to find and navigate through your music and it functions more like the older versions of the Apple Music app before all the unwanted changes. My only complaint is with the playlists. I'm someone that is constantly adding/deleting playlists on my iPhone. The problem with this app is when you add a newer version of a playlist, the old version doesn't delete. I have 4 Recently Added playlists in the playlist screen as well as many duplicates of others. Please fix this bug so when a playlist is deleted from the phone it doesn't still display! Same with older versions of playlists.
