Install ABQ RIDE app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using ABQ RIDE on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "ABQ RIDE"
- The search will reveal the ABQ RIDE app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once ABQ RIDE is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including ABQ RIDE.
- Now enjoy ABQ RIDE on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use ABQ RIDE,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "ABQ RIDE" » then Click "Install".
- ABQ RIDE will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Don’t rely on this app and always give yourself extra time.

This app has inaccurate GPS and schedules depending on the driver. Sometimes buses will be running but their GPS signal does not show up on the in app map. Trust me just don’t rely on it for accuracy and you won’t be as upset as I am when you get stuck waiting 44 minutes longer than you’d planned.

Out of date since ART

The app is clunky to use but does provide some value. That said it has not been updated in a year and it doesn’t reflect the new ART stops. This is a problem.

Questions for the app

I am wondering if there is an update or if fixes are in the works for this app. It has quit showing where buses are currently and to rely on the basic time schedule is not reliable because it does not match most of the time.

Can’t always rely on the app

Some app features will stop working every once in a while and will be down for weeks sometimes months. Currently the bus GPS tracking is down along with many bus stop features.
