Download and install the MyTourGuide app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using MyTourGuide on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MyTourGuide"
- The search will reveal the MyTourGuide app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once MyTourGuide is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MyTourGuide.
- Now enjoy MyTourGuide on PC.

To get MyTourGuide on Windows 11, check if there's a native MyTourGuide Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing MyTourGuide:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "MyTourGuide" » Click "Install" to install MyTourGuide
- MyTourGuide will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Too many steps that produce nothing to use

This app was recommended by the Vicksburg Expedition guide I purchased. Step 1 was to download the app, but still nothing useable. Step 2, download the tour using a passcode from the purchased book. This appears to have worked, but only because a Vicksburg placeholder appeared on the app. Another step (why this isn’t done all at once in Step 2 is known only to the developer). This is where the app fails. Nothing happens on this additional download step. While I haven’t lost any money - I still have the book and CDs/DVDs, the functionality advertised is misleading. The app does not work when at a tour site.

Freezing

I love the app, but I used it 2or3 times and it froze. Can't figure it out and is unusable. I see the apple circle in the background turning as if it is 'thinking' but can't get it to work...

Hasn't worked. Vacation over

Picked up along with a book at the Gettysburg gift shop. I expected the technology to be a perfect match for the need, GPS plus audio for the battlefield tour. Unfortunately, you simply cannot download the content of the tour. No indication whether it can't reach the server or what the problem is, just says to wait a moment. It's been many moments on several different high-speed networks but no joy.

Very disappointing. Spent three hours at Gettysburg trying to get app to work. Did not know how to contact any customer service. Will not purchase another
