Install Wind App app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Wind App on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Wind App"
- The search will reveal the Wind App app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Wind App is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Wind App.
- Now enjoy Wind App on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Wind App Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Wind App,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Wind App" » then Click "Install".
- Wind App will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Very basic the app information. Not suitable for sailors and while its cost is low, the data it provides does not warrant buying this app as the free version shows the same data.
Disappointing app.

Like the app and ability to add it to my Glances on the Apple Watch. Only request would be a Complication so I could view the the app speed from the watch face.
Also only true downside is in Glances it won't allow you to chose what "speed type" you want to view. I'm not a sailor, I just want to see how windy it is in MPH when I want and not just in tiny little letters above the sailing speed.
Nice job though...keep up the good work!
