1. BitWiz Audio Synth translates C-like code expressions into 8-bit generative stereo audio in real-time.

2. Record your sessions and export through iTunes File Sharing or Audio Copy to other apps, or send them to AudioShare - the audio document manager.

3. The entered code expression is used to calculate each audio frame, also known as "bytebeat" synthesis.

4. You don't need to learn C to use this app, just play around with the included codes and tweak a number here or there, and strange glitchy variations will appear.

5. Use the dual multitouch XY-pad or external MIDI control to tweak variables in the expression in real-time.

6. BitWiz comes bundled with lots of examples, and you can easily add your own codes to the built-in library.

7. You can also share your codes by e-mail, twitter or facebook, or open them in another application.

8. • Supports bytebeat samplerates 44100, 22050, 14700, 11025, 8820, etc.

Install BitWiz Audio Synth app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "BitWiz Audio Synth"
The search will reveal the BitWiz Audio Synth app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once BitWiz Audio Synth is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including BitWiz Audio Synth.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use BitWiz Audio Synth,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "BitWiz Audio Synth" » then Click "Install".
- BitWiz Audio Synth will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

though it may take some time to learn how it works, it can be used to create music and sounds from piercingly annoying to calm, slow and relaxing. I recommend this to anyone wanting to create glitchy music. my only problems with it is the lack of operators such as NOT and sin(), and a lack of customization in the base frequency, and finally lack of support for 64 bit numbers. also an error occasionally occurs with numbers beginning with 0 eg(05, 09) where it sometimes appears as a syntax error.

This synth has a mild learning curve but is absolutely AWESOME once you get it figured out. Xy pads, midi, audiobus, audio copy and paste. All the features necessary to make this a very useable synth are packed in this bad boy. The sounds you can conjure are very unusual, and with a little tweaking can provide you with some impossible to recreate samples which can be sent to your app of choice for further destruction/mangling. I highly recommend this over glitch machine. All though both are great, this is the leader of the pack. Try sending your samples thru glitchbreaks or glitch1 Also I love how there is a random patch making button, this is going to be one of those apps that finds a special place on your iPad. Only thing I would like to see added is maybe an online patch library thru the app and a PDF manual. keep up the awesome work devs! And thanks for the updates, you guys rock!
