Terrible Company

This company is a terrible company. The only reason that they can sell this kind of software is because of the proprietary file format, possible corruption (can’t prove but seems suspicious), and perhaps nationalism. In most if not all Korean public schools, it’s mandatory to use this software instead of Microsoft Office. Having to use Hanshow (part of this suite annoys even Korean instructors who are used to PPT). Everything on this application looks out of place compared to every other application I have on my iPhone and iPad. Thankfully it’s better than the MacIntosh app, but that’s not saying a lot. I have to use the software as a teacher in Korea, which annoys me to no end. The user interface seems like it’s from another operating system, and the integration with the cloud services is counterintuitive, among other things. It crashes frequently whereas that almost never happens with the iWork, Google Docs, and MS Office suites. They probably have some tires was somebody at various companies in public institutions though. Thank god I work at a university so I do not have to deal with (monstrosity too much). I can use my own software. But the show goes on. HWP files unreadable by decent word processing apps. So this is valuable to those living in South Korea simply because nothing else can handle HWP files. If not for that, it would be trash, as handling HWP files and better Korean fonts are it’s only merits.
