Okay, but missing a couple of key features

The app generally does what it claims -- it hides files in the Finder. However, two things to note: 1.) Although the feature list claims it does, it does not in fact (as of version 1.1.1) allow you to launch hidden files; you must make the files visible in order to launch them. 2.) It doesn't hide files from the command line at all; anyone savvy enough to open the Terminal and type 'ls' can still see the files and/or folders you've hidden.

Works perfect

i debated between this app and another one which costs 3X the price of this one and I am glad I chose this one! It works just as it is described, and i was also able to hide folders on my shared hard drive via our air port express' USB port, I can't even explain how awesome that is. i have checked with my other macs and the files cannot be seen. I am running Lion 10.7.5 on a 15" i7 MBP

Doesn’t Work with Path Finder

If you use Cocoatech’s Path Finder (version 7) instead of the Mac Finder, selecting “Show Invisibles” will reveal all. Not only will your hidden files/folders be seen by anyone using your computer, they’ll be accessible even if you’ve set a password. The app seems to work fine with the Mac Finder but does not work with Path Finder. Please fix!

Worthless

This app is worthless. I needed to hide a folder. When I told the app to hide it, it did. But, if I searched in Finder for subfolders that were in the “hidden” folder they showed up and if I double clicked on these, I could see all the content in them. So, it hides the name of the folder, but still gives access to all the files in it. It’s a joke!
