Install GrowlTunes app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using GrowlTunes on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GrowlTunes"
The search will reveal the GrowlTunes app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once GrowlTunes is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GrowlTunes.
Now enjoy GrowlTunes on PC.

Almost perfect

Glad that this app was updated for Lion. Only a few small things that would make this app perfect: As others have said, allow an option to hide the menu item. Also, optionally include the rating for the currently playing song, and listen for changes to the current song's rating and display a notification(I use Alfred's keyboard shortcuts to set ratings of songs while I work and it'd be nice to get some feedback that I've changed the rating on a song). Other than that, this is great!

First of all, you can easily open this at login, all you have to do is drag and drop it down onto the dock, right click open at login, and then you can remove it from the dock. (I dragged it from launchpad). This is wonderful and I'm glad it was finally built. The one thing that annoys me, is that whenever I click on the icon in the status bar, it takes two clicks to open up or is really slow doing so. If this was fixed, I would give 5 stars.

I have enough things sitting in my menu bar. I don't need this to be there, especially when past versions of this app didn't have it in the menu. Get away from the fancyness too. Go back to how it used to be.

There are many reviews for how this cannot open at login. I think that if you go to system prefs, and go to accounts and then over to the tab that says login item, you can add it to the list. Haven't tried it yet, but it should work. Overall, great app.
