What is Soundbeam? Soundbeam is a real-time audio analyzer app that visualizes everyday sounds and even sounds that cannot be heard. It has a stylish interface and high precision signal processing algorithms that create a new way to experience sound. The app can process the input of your microphone and display it like a classic oscilloscope. It also features a spectral visualization of the audio using high resolution fourier transform (FFT) for accurate measurements.

Software Features and Description

1. * While in "spectrum mode", pinch the monitor vertically or horizontally to change frequency range and intensity levels respectively.

2. * In "waveform mode" pinch the screen vertically to adjust intensity levels.

3. It also features a spectral visualization of the audio using high resolution fourier transform (FFT) for accurate measurements.

4. Plug in your electric guitar, a mic or any other (hi-Z) device to your mini-jack input and get accurate measurements.

Download and install the Soundbeam app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

It works! Useful tool to have, very modest price. The user interface is real eye candy - in the same vein as the first AAA apps designed for iPhone. Really happy with this. Thanks for creating it. I don’t see an approximate dB level when in waveform mode. That would nice.

Can the developer add a record feature to it where you obviously record something, And then record again and see a percent on how well the two sounds matched?

Absolutely LOVE this app and especially appreciate the ability to record and save audio + video. My two requests are: enable longer recordings (IAP for this function would be welcome and purchased immediately) and (far less important) the ability to adjust background color from the default aqua-green. Regardless this app is awesome as-is.
Great and fun app

This is really cool if you're an engineer or geek. Well worth $.99.. I'm sure the iPhone's mic has a certain frequency range, but does it really cutoff at 100hz? Would be nice if it could go lower, preferably down to 20 or so hz, which I'm sure the mic isn't capable of. Maybe with an external mic the scale could shift down to 10hz? Please make it as low as possible!
