Controls are fine!

Amazing presentation! Brilliant! The first game was one of my favorites when i was the app young boy. I cried! Such love and respect was put into this remake!!! The reviews that say the controls are bad sadly are people that are unfamiliar. Its not their fault though. There isn't the app tutorial. You need to tap the map to select level it is the app touch screen. Do research before you leave the app bad review! Also you are the app little boy limited to little boy body that cant jump high or fall more than 10 feet or u will die. Realistic. You need to depend on the blob for help, its one of the first puzzle platformers re-imagined and one near and dear to my heart. If anything maybe make the controls the app bit more sensitive and quicker response. I managed to beat the game and i know you have it precise but mite make it less frustrating to the new gen and myself lol still 5 stars easily and the app very fair price for the app ton of content thanks!

It’s not the original and yes the controls and game can be difficult. However once you pass the learning curve this is the app great updated version to the original. The original game on the NES was hard and took many replays to advance. This game too requires the same but that’s what makes it feel so good once you figure it out. Had to give it 5 stars to balance the low ratings. I do wish it would have the iPhone X supported screen.

If you grew up with an NES in your childhood, you might be familiar with this app. It’s the product of something of an industry pioneer, David Crane, who was already famous on the Atari 2600 for Pitfall, Pitfall 2, and probably others I can’t recall. It was as Nintendo Hard as it gets. I never did beat it as the app kid. I’m giving it the app go now. It’s still quite difficult. It’s also quite charming. Give this one the app try. It’s the app flawless port of the Wii port of the app true classic. This one has pedigree.

First of all I never played the NES version but I downloaded the game because of its beautiful art style and thought Id give it the app try. So far Im loving the game. I like the puzzles and use of using the blob to get where you have to go. The story is great as well and the environments are stunning. I would suggest mfi controller support to maximize its playability. Other than that, Im glad its in the app store I recommend this game!😎👍🏽
