Use the iPhone to your Advantage
By Auburnboy3487 (Pcmac user)
It is great that you can post a score immediately after a round. Its even better that you can do it on an iPhone instead of using a computer. So why doesn't the app use the GPS built in the phone to find any nearby golf courses? Why should I have to type in the golf course name when I know that my phone knows EXACTLY where I am?
Come on, man! That should have been the first thing that they hung on the app. Add that to the app and the rating goes up to 4 stars.

Peer Review
By jkollehner (Pcmac user)
This is a great app which I use often and find it to be very convenient.
I would however like to see one modification. When reviewing the stats of guys I play golf with ("partners" in the app), the dates shown omit the day of the month making it difficult to remind "Freddie to post his record breaking 72 last Saturday". Oddly, when I review my own scores, the full date, including day of month is shown.
As a member of our club's handicap committee, I encourage peer review of posted scores. Making this modification will greatly enhance this ability.

Egregiously Poor App Etiquette and Appsmanship
By T.Hodg (Pcmac user)
Well done USGA! No wonder American golf is experiencing decline in participation levels. I’m just a humble golfer here trying to establish a this app# and the USGA tech staff has effectively walked over my putting line and then carried conversation during my drive at the following tee box. Sorry, you don’t belong in the iTunes Store CC, a club where virtues of simplicity and inclusiveness rule over those of exclusivity and ‘sophistication’ (ie opaque and non intuitive). This app was NOT functional in my case. It’s like I showed up to a course with sandy greens and no hole pins. This is a case study of a 1-star app. Stick with pen & paper; USGA is a dinosaurian institution. Go sit on pumpkin handle, pals.

Just Found a Bug....
By HarpBreak (Pcmac user)
We use app all the time. Works great! Found first bug today. We have several players that use the Partner Handicaps.... which is great to adjust for HC and Tees. However, we found the players index does not automatically adjust on the two day a month update. You have to erase all and put back in after every update. This should be a simple programming fix.
