Install THR Session - US app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using THR Session on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "THR Session"
The search will reveal the THR Session - US app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once THR Session is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including THR Session.
Now enjoy THR Session on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native THR Session Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use THR Session,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "THR Session" » then Click "Install".
- THR Session - US will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great, but needs ability to save! Also needs iOS 8 Update.

This app was one of the reasons I recently bought an iPhone. I wanted the ability to loop a section of a song for practicing guitar. This app does that pretty well. The feature it's lacking however, is the ability to save loops. It's time consuming having to reopen a song, find the part to loop each time you want to practice. Why not just offer an option to save loops? If they did that, I'd pay $20 for this app. Also, apparently this app isn't iOS8 ready. I hope they do this soon so I can update my phone. Anyway…thanks for the free app. I own the THR10X guitar amp as well and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good feature rich recording device and practice amp.

This used to be a great little app for slowing down and isolating bits of songs I was trying to learn. It's major flaw was that I had to re-load the song each time I sparked up the app, which was time consuming and unnecessary. Add to that the fact there have been no updates in about 2 years and one wonders about Yamaha's commitment to the app. But ever since I upgraded (?) to iOS 8, the app doesn't work at all. If they fix this bug, then great. If not, well, at least it was free.
Great tool for guitar players!!!

It makes for a good companion app to use with the the app amp. But it's also a great tool to use for guitar players practicing a song. I was able to import a song from iTunes, slow it down, change the pitch, and isolate the vocals from the track, and loop a section over and over to learn it and play along with it. Very cool for a free app!!!

I recently bought a THR10, and love the amp! I was really excited when I heard about this app; looking forward to using some of its "abilities" to complement the use of the outstanding amp. Well, currently, it's "abilities" amount to loading on my 6s, and an "on/off" switch that toggles. It will not recognize any songs in my phone's memory; no music, no play... Currently running iOS 9.3.2. Have read rave reviews from users of less advanced phones and software versions-- C'mon guys, you can do better than this...
