  • Tweaks needed

This app has incredible potential to be my alternative to activity monitor. However, the app is almost not usable in its current state. When the threshold is set to 0 for the low end, it reports every running process. This would be fine, except the list of apps is too long for the screen and when you scroll down to see other apps that have dipped below, the scroll wheel snaps back to the top of the list when you let go. This makes it annoying and impossible to manage any process that is below the top of the list- essentially making the app useless as a complete activity monitor.
  • not bad, but concerned for the future

    By Jensen G (Pcmac user)

this app is a handy glance at CPU-eating programs, but recently I have had issues with it. I just noticed it was taking up over 1GB of my the app memory, and thus ironically causing performance problems. I looked to the developer for support, but their website is a blank page and “support” just leads to a twitter feed. I am concerned about the viability of this product, and will uninstall it to prevent the app issues. We will see if the developer comes back to update or better support this product.
  • Good at what it does

I wouldn’t call this little app a must-have on a mac with plenty of resources, but when things are tight, it’s much handier to click on it than to wait for Activity Monitor to load under such conditions. The less RAM you have, the more this app is probably your friend.
  • Does not work right

    By rjdeible (Pcmac user)

I have an old computer and it never shows an app over low amount even when there is only one app running and has m=no memory left. Mainly I think this is because it doesn’t seem to be able to measure background apps which is the reason I got it to find out where the memory is going. Indexing by the way is the culprit but I figured it out whithout the help of any app. I don’t really see the point of this app it isn’t even as helpful as Activity Monitor.
