  • WOW!!!

    By Belindati (Pcmac user)

I just...wow...........THIS APP IS PHENOMENAL!! I just got it about 30 minutes ago and I've been playing with it, works great, I was really expecting to get ripped off. Worth every penny. I see a lot of people talking about the app crashing after the last update, so I was hesitant to buy it but it's working fine for me, I'm on an iPad 2, that might be why. I really can't think of anything to add other than maybe showing you the actual map if you enter the seed, or maybe logging into your minecraft account from the app do it can really show you the actual map not just spots you've marked, but I really wouldn't be disappointed if they never added that, since it's a fairly high expectation. When new people come into my world, they never know where to go to get to my house, but now I'll be able to give them the coordinates and anyone with half a brain can usually figure it out, rather than me having to find my own map and lead them to it (mainly for when I'm not at my house). Bottom line, buy this app if you play lots of minecraft.

Good app for anyone serious about exploring their worlds and wanting a quick way to jot down some coordinates and view them on a map. A handy way to get an idea of just how far something is from you or another place. Now with nether and end maps for coordinate placing. Naming each location is a great touch. I never used the picture feature because that's more work than I felt like going through. Awesome though. Everything can be done within this app except the screenshots. Those require you to hook your device to your computer. HOW TO 1) click the + sign to add a world. Name and save it. 2) click the new world you made. Not the arrow but around the name. 3) click the + sign again 4) enter the coords and choose end, overworld or nether 5) save Now you have a location saved. On the bottom it says "map" click this to see the coords on a map. From here you can choose to turn labels on and off. Enjoy. NOTE: your coords shouldn't be getting deleted on their own. If this happens inform the developers with a detailed list of the events before the deletion as well as your device and iOS version (ex. Closed and opened the app. My worlds disappeared. Running on iPhone 2 iOS 5.1.1)

A lot of people are saying not to buy this app cause they don't know how to use it well here are (hopefully) the answers to your questions. 1- This does NOT work for pocket edition this app was made for a system that you could bring up the heads up display thus showing the coordinates. 2-to bring the HUD on pc/Mac: press the f3 key on the top of the keyboard if that doesn't work hold down the FN key (this is in different this app depending on the keyboard) while pressing f3 if THAT doesn't work than you must have a wierd computer. By the way f1: makes hot bar and hand go away good for showcasing if you record. F2: takes a screenshot you will have to look up how to access application support it is fairly easy on Mac but complicated on pc. F3: brings up HUD. F4: idk f5: third person mode again good for recording purposes. 3- I DO NOT HAVE AN XBOX SO I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN BRING UP THE HUD. Uh google it. 4-if you don't know how to work the actual app than I can't help you it's pretty straight forward for me. I hope I could help you if you don't understand (lol) goooooogle it!!! -happyguy1111
  • Awesome App

    By aaronmallen4 (Pcmac user)

This is the simplest, and in my opinion best way to handle Minecraft mapping. You don't need to install anything on your server or PC, like every other iOS solution I have found. However, this app does not tap into its full potential. I'd like to be able to add marker types (I.e. home, warp, mine, chest, etc...) I'd also like an option to edit how labels display in map mode. I would also like to be able to filter on a ranged Y axis, so if I only want to see blocks 64 and higher I can or if I want to see blocks 02-28 I can do that also. Finally I'd like to see this app made into a plus version so I can use it on my iPad also. Overall great app, I hope to seem some updates and I hope you guys keep it awesome.
