Software Features and Description

1. * Control TieCam by noise recognition in order to have both hands free while tying the knot.

2. Please assure that your Mac provides an external or build-in camera (such as FaceTime or iSight camera) before you choose to buy TieCam.

3. If you are ready for the next sub-step, then just make a noise (e.g. a loud word, cough or whistle) and TieCam will proceed.

4. For each knot type TieCam will show you a sequence of sub-steps which you have to imitate in your reflection.

5. Note: TieCam needs a camera in order to work properly.

6. Using the camera of your computer, TieCam makes it really easy to tie a tie.

7. * Select timer control and TieCam will use a countdown for each sub-step.

8. With TieCam you can see directly in your reflection how to tie the perfect tie knot.

9. All you have to do is to bring yourself into the right position and follow the instruction which TieCam will give you.

10. If you want to use noise recognition, a microphone has to be connected to your Mac.

Install TieCam app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "TieCam"
The search will reveal the TieCam app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once TieCam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including TieCam.
Now enjoy TieCam on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use TieCam,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "TieCam" » then Click "Install".
- TieCam will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Doesn’t work on iMac running high sierra

This used to be great. I loaded it up on my new iMac and the app is no longer able to access the camera. It look slike it has not been updated in 4 years. Hopefully, the developer can give this a quick refresh. It would be a great iPhone app too - could be a good application for AR Kit.

Everybody needs help with ties sometimes. I wanted to relearn how to do the full windsor. This app is extremely easy to use, and I was able to get it right after a couple of tries. Includes neat features like advancing to the next step by making a noise so you can keep both hands working.
