Install iWriteMusic Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using iWriteMusic Pro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iWriteMusic Pro"
The search will reveal the iWriteMusic Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iWriteMusic Pro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iWriteMusic Pro.

Fantastic! Updates Keep Coming

3/9/18 - Once again, another great update. Developer has made this even better. It hasn't left my iPad since it came out and was the first app I put on my latest iPad. (Previously, and still true) Perfect for my use with various folk musics. Valuable tool for copying poorly reproduced, and old (ancient) sheet music. Updates increase its value for me. (Previously, and still true) I have used this app for a while now. It has not left my iPad since I bought it when it first came out. Each version has been an improvement. I requested support using ornamentation and it happened. I like that I can transcribe with ease, and can immediately hear when a "fat finger" mistake has occurred. Plus midi! Received many compliments with the results. Highly recommended!

This notation app would be my runaway favorite if it had better sound in the piano. As it is, I switch back and forth between this one and Notion, which has great sound but doesn't allow more than one rythym per clef.

I was using Touch Notation and it has been good, not great. However, that app hasn’t been updated in over a year and has many problems (crashes, impossible to connect slurs across pages, can’t add sfz w/o app crashing). So I buy this app and at first get confused about the inputting of notes, rests, etc. After inputting one song though, this app appears pretty easy to use and more importantly, stable. Very satisfied!

This app just keeps getting better and better. I’ve used it for over 5 years now and it is far and away the most productive and useful app on my iPad. The developers are very responsive and helpful to questions and clearly understand music theory and what is needed in transcribing music. Virtually every conceivable musical notation is covered. Thanks for all the work you put into the app.
