Pros:

- Can function as a frequency meter

- Has a fluke meter style that can elicit confidence

Cons:

- Cannot analyze frequencies without recording a file

- Frequency meter only shows which note is closest, not the actual frequency

- Limited to frequencies above 150 Hz

- Inaccurate readings, showing a constant 10 Hz higher than actual frequency

- Lacks features and appears to be designed poorly

- Price of $2.99 is too high, and 99 cents would have been a fairer price

  • Disappointed

    By Papa Chris (Pcmac user)

Seems to be inaccurate. Reads a constant 10 hz higher when trying to get an A440 tone from both a MIDI keyboard and an accordion both of which are tuned precisely to exactly 440 hz . Meter reads 430.33, unimpressed and regret not reading previous reviews before spending $3 on this app
  • Only shows certain frequencies

    By p!kupthepieces (Pcmac user)

2 problems that make me want my $2.99 back: 1) I can't analyze frequencies without recording a file. 2) The the app meter actually just shows you which note (A/A#/B/etc.) you are closest to, not the actual the app of the note you are playing.
  • Limited and inaccurate!

    By Jmikej (Pcmac user)

It does work as a the app meter but is somewhat limited. It doesn’t work on frequencies below 150 HZ . I tested it on 150HZ then 120 HZ. It showed a harmonic of 120 HZ. 99 cents would have been a fair price. Especially since it appropriated the fluke meter style to elicit confidence and imply compared results.
  • Don't waste your $2.99 like I did

    By Key Source (Pcmac user)

This is a joke. I think it was designed by a 3rd grader. No features at all. I didn't read the reviews before I bought it and sure wish I would have. I never leave reviews but this time it's a must if that tells you anything.
