Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Does what it says it will

    By Vick Khera (Pcmac user)

It records my heart rate from my monitor and charts it well. I like being able to email it to myself as a CSV file for further analysis. The only thing bad I have to say about this is that it is fairly evident a graphic designer has been nowhere near this thing. That is overlooked easily because it actually works and doesn't want to force me to sight up for a cloud service to use it. One bug: there is a phantom history entry that came with it which I cannot view or delete. Attempting to do so crashes the app every time.
  • Worked one time

Worked the first time, but not after. Tried with Tickr X and latest iOS on a iPhone 6s.
  • Works but could be better.

    By JTalbert (Pcmac user)

This is really a 2.5 star review. Works well. Love the graph, exactly what I am working for, but come on. Multitasking has been out in iOS devices for how long and this does not work in the background? If it did this would be 5 star. And support? You go to their website and they don't even mention this. Hoping for an update.
  • Really fantastic app!

    By BAB943 (Pcmac user)

Very easy to use and really fantastic tech support. This app easily let me monitor and chart my heart rate from a Bluetooth polar heart rate H7 sensor (chest band type) for an entire night of sleep. I have sleep apnea and am testing whether an orthotic device would be as effective for me as cpap (and to help me adjust orthotic to most effective tension). This app lets me monitor whether I have episode of increased heart rate which would be one sign of an panic event (still testing but last night with cpap my heart rate was steady at 70 except for the hour I used the orthotic when I had a period of increase heart rate to 140 ! So this looks helpful). It's a cool feature that you can email the chart to yourself too. Very easy to use. Highly recommend! (Maybe they could add oxygen level monitoring next!) . I put the iphone in a chest pocket to make sure of a high quality recording (not sure if necessary but it worked well).
