I was thrilled to finally see this game on the app store because I've been a fan of spiderweb games for a long time. I have been playing this for hours and hours and it is such a huge game. I love the characters and the quests. Theres lots of big fights and always lots of cool treasures and magic to find. Its a lot of fun!
Tedious

Not terrible but tedious. After a few gaming hours I found myself wondering if it was going to get any better. Story line is just OK, UI is functional but not intuitive and the quests way too interdependent....you end up trudging back and forth for really little gain in XP to build your character. If I had been looking for scenery I'd have bought a car chase game. The plus side is that it loads and operates properly with no problems at all.

the app is an old classic series of role-playing games for the Mac, going back a lot of years, and this game is the epic conclusion, but you don't need to play the earlier games to enjoy it. It is indie and low budget and the graphics are rough, but its a really great game with a great story. As RPGs go, its hard to come up with one that plays better.
