  • Use lite version, save your money on paid version.

    By DiaG4 (Pcmac user)

I agree with the "Flagrant foul" comment below. Can't change settings to desired instrument or scale in paid... App just throws them at you with no clue. But it is fun and you the app learn the major notes (white keys), but no flat/sharp note (black keys). Felt more comfortable with the lite version because it was only the piano and a limited scale. And for $4.99!!! It's not worth the price... Should be .99 cents max! "Note Teacher Kids" is a far superior app for less than half the price.

Simple and you can train your ear.
  • I'm a bit tone deaf

I can't tell a whole step from a half. But I'm gonna keep trying practice makes perfect. Nobody's born with perfect pitch. The weird part is I can sing pretty good
  • Flagrant fouls

    By OriginalWingo (Pcmac user)

The app does what it says, and does it pretty well. So why only two stars? First, it has zero settings. None. And it needs some, like the ability to choose the variety of instrument sounds, or to limit the scale. Second, I hate the snarky messages. My least favorite feature is the fact that it nags to post your "score" after every round -- and you can't turn that off. That's a flagrant foul. Avoid.
