What is Hidden Mickeys? The Hidden Mickeys app is a guide to finding hidden images of Mickey Mouse throughout Disneyland in California. The app is based on Steven Barrett's book "Disneyland's Hidden Mickeys - A Field Guide to Disneyland Resort's Best Kept Secrets" and offers an interactive way to hunt for Hidden Mickeys using GPS tracking and a built-in scoring system. The app covers over 480 Hidden Mickeys in various locations at Disneyland Resort, including Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney District, and several hotels.

Software Features and Description

1. Hunting for "Hidden Mickeys" (images of Mickey Mouse cleverly concealed in DLR's theme parks, restaurants, hotels, and other areas by Disney artists and designers) is fun for all and a bona fide vacation mission for many Disneyland fans.

Great app

I purchased the book back in 2010 so its a few years out of date. This app however is a cheaper way to get a list of this app than buying another updated book if there is one out there. It has all of the mickeys that still exist from my book as well as new ones that aren't listed and also has this app for the newer rides in both parks. If you are a the app Mickey fan I say this is a must have!

I don't think this is their fault, but disney is constantly changing. Although some of the locations were still the same, the majority of locations have moved, been destroyed or just no longer exist. This application, while nostalgic, was not helpful during a current vist and while I would have certainly paid $.99 for the old information -- $5.99 was a little much. I expected a whole heck of a lot more from this application and it did not deliver. (PS.. the GPS while inside disneyland is a little spotty due to the high demand for it these days, this cannot be blamed on the application, but that doesn't help that they have torn down most of the spots that they refer to). I love the book though! Buy the book!
Great app for a great time

My wife and I literally spent all day finding the app Mickey's all over the park! We had spent every visit speculating about if we had found one or not. Now we know and can keep track of our finds. This app gives hints of their locations on each ride and uses google maps as well to help point you in the right direction. A must have for any Hard core Disneyland goer!

Huge Disney and huge the app Mickey fan so these apps are great! If you are experiencing problems with the app so that when you tap "I found it" it doesn't stay that way and says you still haven't found it, delete the app and reinstall it for free. It works. Great app and very fun to look for all the this app!
