Update: this used to be one of my fave apps. But now the sounds aren't continuous. After a couple of seconds, they stop. This was an awesome app when my cats would try forever to get to the "shrieking kittens" mysteriously buried under a pillow. Now it's useless; it needs to keep going to work. Blah. :(

I can't express how much fun it is to torture my cats with this. The most effective sound for my cats is of the kittens crying. I usually put the phone under a pillow, and my cats run around and try to get the kittens out of there. It's actually quite hilarious. One of my cats usually manages to burrow under, and then she picks up my phone like a kitten and runs away with it. (I have an otterbox case, so it seems pretty safe.)
I looooooooove this app. And the best price too! Can't recommend it enough.

Cats looked everywhere (and still looking)

Ears turning around like radar dishes trying to find the source of the meowing was great. As for the nutbag thinking there are cats being harmed in the recordings, the one track sounds exactly like a 30+yr old Haunted Halloween RECORD (yes, those flat black disc things) from I believe Disney Studios. Great app and the price is even better: FREE!

My older cat was totally freaked out and got worried looking around the room for the cat fight he wanted to join in on. While my 8 week old kitten is thrilled to hear other kittens. Both figured out the origin and I fear for the safety of my phone now.
