If you happen to download this app be forewarned that the upgraded version is no better than the free version. After spending money to get promised upgrades I found that there is a lot of information missing at least for the New England area. This is not something you want to use or upgrade to if you’re planning on survival.

I have the Lite version, and I've found it to contain a wealth of information. From the multiple images and detailed descriptions, recipes, and glossary to the highlighted red indicator of dangerous/poisonous lookalikes, this app has it all. I live in Colorado and, though some entries may be geared toward plants that grow more easterly than here, it did help us identify garlic mustard growing in our area...something we didn't think had made it all the way to our location. This app doesn't replace quality field ID books, but it's a fantastic supplement that goes a step further by offering uses and recipes for your properly identified finds!
