1. When using 3G/4G, the video from your DVR will likely be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and will contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have.
2. Consult with your mobile service provider regarding the use of a video streaming app and how it may affect your plan.
3. Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann DVR via 3G/4G or WiFi.

Select Windows version:
- Windows 7-10

Download and install the SwannView app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using SwannView on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SwannView"
- The search will reveal the SwannView app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once SwannView is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SwannView.
- Now enjoy SwannView on PC.
- Using SwannView on Mac OS:
Install SwannView on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.
How to download and use SwannView App on Windows 11
To get SwannView on Windows 11, check if there's a native SwannView Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing SwannView:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "SwannView" » Click "Install" to install SwannView
- SwannView will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Quality Poor & App is Down Completely

Better off using a Nest camera or Digital Watchdog. This system has always had issues with slow connections, poor quality, and terrible watch back capabilities. Ive been using, regretfully, for 5 years. Now the app isn’t working for iPhones, tablets, nor Androids. This is due to them not keeping up with OS updates since they prefer to be a tech fossil.
One time I attempted to contact support and got nada help. My alarm company doesn’t help much either.
Bottom line...don’t waste your money, or time. I’m looking forward to canning this system soon.

Poor Support

I've called the 800 number and if you follow the phone tree they end up hanging up on you. I'm a customer in the US. We got this system from WOOT almost a year ago. It took forever to get the iPhone app to connect via 3G and 4G. but once it was working it was fabulous and we used all the time on iPhone and iPad. now with the app upgrades everything seems to have failed. 800 support is not reachable. the iPhone manual on their website is from a year ago. Very disappointed. If i get it working i'll be sure to post the solution. good luck. nice app if you can get it going.

Please please please update app so it will be compatible to new iPhone updates! I can't watch my child at daycare because it's not compatible to the new updates! I would love to give the app 5 stars bc I liked being able to see my daughter but I can't do that until I'm actually able to use the app 😪

iPhone4 user: real impressed with the previous version and bragged to all my friends on how well it worked on my mobile. I completed the upgrade and found that it is no where compatible with the iphone4. Looked through the help area with more disappointment.
Just a hint, but maybe put in the help area a link to the old version that worked just fine before. Thanks again for messing up a good thing. Your truly
