Install SwannView NVR app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using SwannView NVR on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SwannView NVR"
- The search will reveal the SwannView NVR app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once SwannView NVR is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SwannView NVR.
- Now enjoy SwannView NVR on PC.

Works if you work thur the issues like anything tech related

You can view remotely over a cell connection. If you are getting a black screen but with the title of the camera then your cell provider is blocking the rtsp port you are trying to use. Port 554 the default rtsp port swann uses is block by most cell carriers, AT&T for me. So we changed that port in both places on the swann system to port 1085 and it works. There email help is non existent but their phone support is pretty decent. Call them and work thur the problems before you say something can't happen/work your give negative reviews.

WORKS ON CELLULAR-CHANGE PORT REQUIRES

Lots of reviews stating they can't view cameras when using mobile phone and cellular (4G, LTE). This is because your cell provider has blocked the default "Rtsp" port that swann uses. Simply open network config on your swann nvr and switch Rtsp port from 554 to 1084 (this worked for me on AT&T). You would do this in the upnp area of network settings assuming you use upnp. Otherwise, forward the new port via router settings. Voila!

Does not work on cellular..only with WiFi

The app will not allow you to see Swann 1080p cameras on cellular network. Sort of like Facetime which only works on Wifi. Will get blank black screen when trying to view cameras on cellular network. Even with the new iPhone 5 with LTE...still cannot see cameras at all. Please UPDATE the app to fix this issue. Defeats the purpose of buying a security camera if you cannot view it on the phone remotely. (Cameras can be viewed on Wifi remotely but will not on cellular!)
