Install Space Gremlin app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Space Gremlin on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Space Gremlin"
- The search will reveal the Space Gremlin app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Space Gremlin is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Space Gremlin.
- Now enjoy Space Gremlin on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Space Gremlin Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Space Gremlin,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Space Gremlin" » then Click "Install".
- Space Gremlin will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

When comparing this app with the leading competitor there’s really no competition. this app lacks the frilly animations that make the competing program so popular, but this app simply blows the competition out of the water when it comes to getting the job done. this app quickly shows me everything I need to know about my file system in a thoughtful and organized way.

I really like this app, one enhancement request

I've tried a number of disk the app apps from the App Store and this is my favorite.
One enhancement request:
I'd like an option to get total number of files that a folder represents, including all it's subfolders, etc. Maybe an option to count directory entries themselves as a file.
Why?
Gremlin handles disk the app really well.
But for Dropbox, it's the total number of file entries you have. And if you have ZILLIONS of file entries, Dropbox gets slow, especially on mobile devices.
When I see a folder that represents thousands and thousands of files, I can use zip and "move" the files into that archive. But I have to find the giant folders manually. It'd be nice if Gremlin could help find those as well.

Use it more than I ever thought I would

I bought a macbook pro with a 150gig hard drive. I quickly found that was NOT ENOUGH. This app has been a life saver. So easy to see what’s taking up all my the app and then quickly deleting it if it’s useless.

this app is an excellent utility at the right price. Things in the App Store lately seem to be overpriced, but this app in particular makes me happy to support the developer; I didn’t get robbed. Check out the demo on the app’s website, then toss the developer a few bucks. Kudos!
