  • Adds on a paid app; no correction

    By Bobby999877 (Pcmac user)

This app is very handy for my Arabic classes and writing needs. But to have to pay for the app, and then be told to pay more to get apps removed is just nonsense. Also, the keyboard can be very frustrating after trying to translate something that should've been auto corrected but wasn't, causing a decent amount of annoyance here and there. The buttons aren't very sensitive either it seems, making the 'translate' button require a few taps before it will do its thing. Over all, it's an okay app. I'm annoyed by the things that shouldn't exist in a paid app. Maybe it's just me, but for this app to be more reliable, some updates are needed. For the time being, I wouldn't recommend it.
  • Seems glitchy to me

    By Travelnut12309 (Pcmac user)

It's pretty good translating from English into French and Spanish, though doesn't always translate everything in a sentence. I can't tell how it does with languages that don't use Latin letters. But, when I first tried it, it would not translate simple words (like "big dog"), in sentences containing those words, in German and a few other northern European languages. When I tried German later, it would not work at all! Eventually, this glitch seemed to be cleared up. I can't complain too much since I didn't pay for the app, but I must admit I was a little disappointed.
  • Quality app

Not my favorite of the free translators, just because of the format: you're apparently unable to change the font size, and the color scheme is a little dark for my tastes. But it has some very good qualities: I liked the ability to copy the translation to the clipboard; the ability to share the translation to your email, Facebook, etc; and the scroll-down listing of languages on the screen's left (which prevented the need for a pop-up menu as in other apps).
  • Pretty darn good

    By Starsapphire800 (Pcmac user)

About as good as they get for the app apps. I use it for Arabic and it almost always gives me the most common translation. Of course it's not perfect but then again no machine the app is. Also, it gets updated frequently and the changes are usually good, so no complaints about the support.
