What is Weather⁺?

Weather+ is a free weather app that provides daily and 3-hourly forecasts, humidity, precipitation, pressure, wind direction and speed, visibility details, and changing video backgrounds along with weather conditions. The app also offers personalized forecast layout screens, an animated flip clock, dark mode, split view for multitasking support, and full Apple Watch support. Users can upgrade to a premium membership to get an ad-free experience, full access to all weather videos, and premium customer support.

Software Features and Description

1. You can remove the locations you added in your location overview, which is accessed by tapping on the magnifying glass symbol in the top left corner.

2. Here you can either swipe the location to the left and press the red delete button that appears next to it, or use the Edit button that is found at the bottom of the page.

3. You can add a city by tapping on the magnifying glass symbol in the top left corner.

4. The app selects a random video from a pool of weather videos that match the weather for the report you’re currently viewing.

5. To switch between, you can simply click on the ‘Your time’ and ‘Local time’ options located on the hour section of the clock.

6. To edit or change this, you can just reorder the cities in your location overview on your iPhone.

7. It’s handy to know that the first location added to your list is set as the location on your Apple Watch.

8. Check your favorite location and multiple locations worldwide.

9. You can expand this pool of videos by unlocking videos in the menu screen, which is done by watching a short ad per video.

10. The Edit button also allows you to change the order of your locations.

11. Congrats! You’ve added the city to your locations.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Weather⁺"

Clean & Simple. Expensive!

Very nice app. Straight forward info. Quick to load. Current data appears correct based on other app info. Will keep around for a few days to see if I still like it. The reasons for 3 stars: Like it as I may, could NEVER consider your subscription offer. 12 month subscription for $8.50 - just for simple data I can get through dozens of apps. Plus, there’s no imaging maps - no radar, no satellite...if you offered those and it was good implementation I’d consider your price as a one time fee. I’m with other reviewer that the clock takes up too much space. I’d rather see current temp and wind speed in that size. Also, the graphic could be a bit more elegant than two blocks. Working with it for a few days will probably bring up other thoughts. Pop ups are the worst ads to me. Not enticing in the least and makes me (and other of my friends) irritated. NOT the right feeling to get people in the mood to LIKE your product. Hope you find a happy medium with your pricing. Cheers.
Beautiful, Accurate, Concise

Terrific this app scenery behind a concise this app & time display. this app videos show a variety of environments (mountains, tropical, forest, grasslands) and reflect the current this app. The only thing that I would suggest would be a live tile and/or widget to reflect the current time. The app tile now shows a clock... but it's not the current time. It would be great if that could be made active. Otherwise a great app! Thank you!

Just an update, still not using the app but wanted to let people know: this app immediately crashes if you have iOS 13 beta installed. Wonder if it will be ready for iOS 13. I’ve used this app for a long time. I accepted that there may be ads displayed innocuously and not getting in the way of the FUNCTION of the app. I’d even be willing to pay *ONCE* for a GREAT this app app. But now that there are pop-ups, etc. I’m moving on. And I hate that people think that it’s OK to pay subscriptions for most things, especially something like a this app app. The more you people pay for subscriptions, the worse the situation will get. Subscriptions are the slippery slope. You are paying for window dressing around freely available data.
Weather+ spams

This used to be my favorite paid this app subscription app for years. Suddenly this app+ forgot I was a paying member and invasively installed a “DailyDoppler” Identity on my iPhone without my consent, with a fully functioning email which I could not delete by normal means. It acted as a bucket for so much adware that I could not get to my regular mail. Now that I write for Forbes I think I will right about how , in my opinion these techniques are not only invasive but resemble spam-ware cyber crime. Despite my paid service I’m deleting the app because of the way this app+ invades my iPhone and set up its own email not selectable by normal means.
