Install Tumbletail app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Tumbletail on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Tumbletail"
- The search will reveal the Tumbletail app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Tumbletail is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Tumbletail.
- Now enjoy Tumbletail on PC.

A different flavor of Tumblr

What I like about the app (compared to the Tumblr app):
- Option to require a PIN to unlock
- Can download all images of a post with one tap
- Can change the default location to save photos to (phone, Dropbox, etc)
- Visibility of post date and time
- Can see your own “Following” list without making it visible to all.
- Can create a list of favorites
What I don’t like:
- If a post multiple images, you cannot download just one
- Favorites list does not automatically remove deactivated blogs
- Could be easier to remove blogs from from favorites (wish there was an option to swipe to delete)
Wish list:
- Option to sort and filter “Following” list. The default lists blogs in order of follow date. Would like to be able to sort by last post date, alphanumerically, and number of posts. And filter followers, favorites, the frequency of posts (daily, weekly, monthly, etc)
- Swipe to delete favorite (from favorites list)
- Swipe to unfollow (from following list)

Weird changes

This is a good app but the latest version has some wierd changes. When a photo opens there is now a bar above it at the top of the screen meaning the photo has to be scrolled up to see all of it. Now, when a post is liked an unattractive bar saying that you are liking the post appears at the top of the screen covering up the back arrow. Neither of these things are a deal breaker but an indication of sloppy programming and people not caring how the app looks.

3.8.9 Broken

Since updating this morning, the app no longer updates any of my Tumblr feeds on any account on either my iPhone or iPad.
