What is Chordbot? Chordbot is an app that allows users to easily create and play chord progressions in different styles without having to master an instrument or music theory. It is great for songwriting experiments or creating backing tracks for instrument practice. The app comes with hundreds of piano, guitar, synth, bass, and drum tracks that can be combined to form unique comping styles. Users can also structure their songs into repeatable sections and export their compositions as MIDI or WAV files.

Install Chordbot app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Chordbot on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Chordbot"
The search will reveal the Chordbot app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Chordbot is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Chordbot.
Now enjoy Chordbot on PC.

I love this app. I am a musician and it gives me a portable way to quickly audition chord progressions and substitutions in a detailed but mostly intuitive UI. It pushed me to try more exotic chords that would otherwise be too complex for me with a paint or guitar. For non-musicians, I can see this as a great app to feel their way through some music without having to know how to work it out on a piano. It’s also a quick way to lay down a simple backing track to play an instrument on top of.

Seriously, this is awesome. The only thing that would make it better, and this doesn’t subtract any stars, is if there was a keyboard representation of the notes in the chords so you could more easily visualize how the non-root notes of the chords are progressing. Of course you can transfer it to a DAW for this, but it would be nice for the writing process.
Needs some more harmonic systems to work with.

Some augments chords and some minMaj7 chords, just for examples, should really be included to make use of harmonic minor and melodic minor systems. Also, no b9s or b13s, etc.? I get that they are trying to keep it clean, but there are ways to keep it simple while still allowing important harmonies in contemporary harmony (and classical, for that matter). I have a feeling people that want to use this are trying to expand their palette, rather than practice the same old same old.

this app provides you the ability to compose and produce professionally-sounding music on your phone. Though it does not have step sequencing for individual notes, it is incredibly complex. You will hear this app on the radio soon.
