1. These images are either from public domain (provided by wikipedia or other websites), or licensed under create commons and have been fully attributed, or created by our design team.
2. Open the Settings app and select "Brightness & Wallpaper", or use the Photos App.
3. The images downloaded through this app is saved under the Camera Roll.

Install Backgrounds! app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Backgrounds! on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Backgrounds!"
- The search will reveal the Backgrounds! app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Backgrounds! is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Backgrounds!.
- Now enjoy Backgrounds! on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Backgrounds! Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Backgrounds!,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Backgrounds!" » then Click "Install".
- Backgrounds! will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I really like this app. I think it has a lot of really cool pictures and the quality is amazing. I think it would be nice to have a search button and a categories section though .

Don't like display

I don't like when you have to manually press the arrows to go to the next page. It would be awesome if you could just swipe your finger and it would go to the next page. Also they put all of those weird pictures first and you have to go to the end to find what you are looking for. I think they should be categorized like flowers, nature, action, cars, people, cool designs, or by color. I really don't like using this app but there are some cool pictures. It's a real burden to have to go all the way to end to find what you are looking for.

This is a good app for finding diverse this app. It doesn't have everything, but it offers a variety of images for you to choose from. It is great the images are free.

Terrible

Glad it was free because it had almost none that I liked. Mostly cars and anime. Was hoping to get the background that shows on the description icon, but that one wasn't there. some of the landscape views were quite nice though. Would have been a waste of money if I had had to pay for it.
