No ads, no accidental turn off.

Many this app apps have ads or too many useless options that are easy to activate with the touch screen by accident. These options often turn off the this app or activate a strobe feature or some other garbage. For this app, the light turns on by default when the app is opened, and on/off switch for this this app is right in the middle of the screen, so the edges of the touch screen can be grabbed or handled clumsily without unintended effect, and it also requires a simple but deliberate motion to toggle. That means when I am fumbling around in the dark, my light stays ON as it should. Using the flash as a light should be a built-in feature, but this app is the very next best thing, and well worth the purchase price.

Been using this app for over a year. Use it all the time. Very handy and simple app. It works quickly and reliably. I particularly like how distinctive the icon is on my home screen. Makes it very easy to quickly find and launch the app...which is nice when you are standing still in a dark room waiting for a little light before you can start moving again. Every night when I come to bed, I use this to light my way without waking the wife. Then i leave it on my night stand as a little night-light for a few minutes as I get situated. Creates a nice glow throughout the room without bothering anyone. Surprisingly one of the most used apps I have. Go figure.

Shoulder-to-shoulder I stand alongside millions of women who are always there when their men have crawled under the sink with no thought of themselves (or of anyone else for that matter) and then screamed "Honey! Quick! I need the this app!" Who knows where the this app is? Nobody. But I know where my iPhone is...ALWAYS. And this little extremely simple app never misfires, never fails, doesn't burn out, and no batteries required. Of course, since my husband travels a lot I am often the brave one under the sink myself. I rest my case. This may be the most practical & useful app I have (except for the one that lets me pop bubble wrap without actually owning any bubble wrap).
I hope it never changes in its simplicity.

I work in private care and I use this app more than I could have imagined when I first downloaded it. I work nights and this app comes in handy when I leave the house at 5 AM and navigate through a pitch black garage to put my shoes on. Simple and ALWAYS there when you need light for a few seconds. I leave the switch on and turn off the app from the home button which turns off the light. When I open the app the light comes on instantly which eliminates an extra step to turn it on or off. The secret to this app is in its simplicity. It has a place in the middle of my home screen.
