Download and install the Yxplayer app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Yxplayer on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Yxplayer"
- The search will reveal the Yxplayer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Yxplayer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Yxplayer.
- Now enjoy Yxplayer on PC.

To get Yxplayer on Windows 11, check if there's a native Yxplayer Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Yxplayer:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Yxplayer" » Click "Install" to install Yxplayer
- Yxplayer will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Pretty good. Has a little stutter

I was apprehensive about buying this app based on all the reviews. I decided to bite the bullet after I saw the new update. I'm pleasantly surprised. Most of my divx video are encoded with the "home theatre" profile and this app does a decent job viewing it.
There's an occasional stutter or lag but it's watchable. Considering the ipad has no support for any of these formats, i'm happy that I can watch my video collection without re-encoding.
Thanks to the developer for creating this and hope future updates keep coming.

Not Good for me

I purchased this app because I was interested in playing some FLV (flash Movies) that I had pulled off the internet. The videos Graphics plays relatively well and reasonably smooth, although definitely an a lower frame rate than I get when using my Mac. The sticking point for me is the sound. Its a stuttering and choppy mess. I end up watching the videos muted. I would expect this with videos of high graphics and sound quality, but was surprised when it happened with these. The video files that I am using were of a medium graphics quality.
If there were a way to return it for a refund, I definitely would do so.

must-have app if u have a lot of video to play. it supports RMVB as well. in old versions it was slow to play those high quality video. but lower quality was fine. hope to see better performance in this newer version

People who are writing bad reviews show me something that works better!
I use the player to play mp4 vids I download from a training site and watch em on my way to work. This app makes the iPad so much more complete! It works absolutely flawlessly. No performance issue, easy dragging files into the players library, easy removing. Simply perfect.
