What is Ueué? Ueué is a mobile application that guides users through the tradition and philosophy of Naples through sayings, proverbs, and idioms that have enriched Neapolitan culture for centuries. It is the first and only application that speaks in Neapolitan. Users can shake their iPhone or iPad to generate hundreds of different sayings accompanied by the sound of tambourines and mandolins. The app also includes a "listen" button that allows users to hear all the phrases recited by a native Neapolitan speaker to ensure correct pronunciation. Additionally, non-Neapolitan users can use the "translate" button to understand the meaning of each expression generated by Ueué. Users can share their favorite sayings on Facebook and Twitter by generating a humorous meme to spread the word among their friends.
