  • Very worthwhile tutorials--clear, cocise, done with love for the craft!

    By Bkgeist (Pcmac user)

I really like this podcast app. Scott's carefully done shows are great summaries for experienced and new hobyists alike. For example, I thought the show summarizing exposure was a terrific overview. Someone who is trying to learn how to use an SLR by reading the manual will get numerous perspectives on what is important, and what is not so central by watching Scott's lesson on the subject. It is terrific instruction. Though I have been an enthusiast for a couple of years, and so learned much on my own before seeing this exposure tutorial, I found it useful to see a plain spoken good teacher offer up his thoughts and typical shooting habbits. Example: my standard snap-shot mode has become shutter priority. Hearing Scott more or less advise that his deffault mode is shutter priority made me feel I am maybe on the right track. I really like Scott's enthusiasm and love for the hobby that is very apparent in every episode I have watched. If you are learning or reviewing the app, I say spend the two bucks for Scott's labor of love. You will be glad you did!
  • Worth every penny an more.

If you are new to the app this app is well worth it. I haven't had any issues with episodes loading or playing. But what makes this app so awesome is the ability to e mail the show an get a timely answer back about question or needing advise on shooting a particular scene. Mine happened to be birthday pics of little kids and my sons prom pictures. The advise worked an I nailed the shot. Thanks again.
  • Seems great but...

    By Shazzbot! (Pcmac user)

I just installed this and tried to watch an episode, but after a couple of seconds it tries to load the most recent episode (regardless of what episode I am trying to watch), and then it keeps popping off and on as if it's in some hellish loop... Now, it's not April 1, so I am wondering what's going on. I gave it 5 stars to give it the benefit of the doubt, but are others having this problem???
