Install MealLogger app on your Windows in 4 steps below:


  1. Download an Android emulator for PC:
    Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

  2. Install the emulator:
    On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

  3. Using MealLogger on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
    • Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MealLogger"
    • The search will reveal the MealLogger app icon. Open, then click "Install".
    • Once MealLogger is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MealLogger.
    • Now enjoy MealLogger on PC.

  1. To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
    • Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

  2. To use MealLogger,
    • Login to the PlayStore we just installed
    • Search for "MealLogger" » then Click "Install".
    • MealLogger will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

  • Doesn’t always work

    I like the idea of this app, as I was looking for an easy way to track what I eat. Taking photos has proven the best option for me. I’ve tried other apps that log calories but I get too hung up on accuracy and lose focus on the big picture. The app is super buggy and doesn't always work. Seems to be getting worse with the iOS upgrades and makes me think this app isn’t actively being developed anymore.
  • Can’t Save Anything

    I am trying to save a post and the “Save” button overlaps the very top right of the screen on the status bar. I can see the button but am unable to click it so I can’t save anything.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly summary of food groups? Half portions?

    Easy to use. I am not terribly interested in photographing every bite of food, but I am interested in logging the food groups I have eaten. It would be really useful if this app provided a daily summary of how many servings of all the food groups I've eaten, and even weekly and monthly averages and trends. Also, if it allowed half servings of all the food groups instead of just some of them (even allowing manual entry of # of servings in addition to +/- entry).

    What a useful and easy to use app. I have been a calorie counter for years and was used to entering all my food and amounts. This is so much easier and the support you get from others is so helpful. Not to mention that you also see their pictures, which is so helpful when looking for inspiration on something yummy and healthy when you are tired of the same old food! There is also the mindful aspect. You are posting your pictures. You want to post good food, healthy food and proper portions. Really makes you think twice on what you should eat! Thanks!
