1. Snowtam provides pilots with the following useful collection of tools for cold weather conditions: SNOWTAM decoder, MOTNE decoder and a cold temperature correction tool.

2. Based on Transport Canada's widely available Altitude Correction Chart, this utility uses a formula to quickly calculate cold temperature altitude adjustments.

3. Runway condition MOTNE codes, which are provided with METARs, can quickly be decoded with an intuitive spin dial interface, ensuring that invalid codes cannot be entered.

4. A quick and easy decoder for any of the 16 fields provided in a Snow Notification Report.

5. The application comes with detailed help information for each utility.

Install Snowtam app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Snowtam on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Snowtam"
The search will reveal the Snowtam app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Snowtam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Snowtam.
Now enjoy Snowtam on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Snowtam,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Snowtam" » then Click "Install".
- Snowtam will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Very God App

It's extremely useful. The producers are very quick with updates when they are issued. The one thing it's missing to make it indispensable is a decoder for Japanese Snowtams. As an international pilot we go there often and this feature is truly missed. Other than that it would definitely rate 5 stars.
Not worth it

It works but I'd look for the same info combined into another app. I'd say it was worth 99 cents.
