Install WFUV app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using WFUV on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "WFUV"
- The search will reveal the WFUV app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once WFUV is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including WFUV.
- Now enjoy WFUV on PC.

I live in NYC, once a fabulous radio market. For a number of years I couldn't listen to the radio because there were no good stations. I found this app and became a member. It's a wonderful, non commercial resource. Tune in, listen for a while and enjoy.
This dedicated app is a dream for me. I have FUV on a couple of radio apps on my phone already, but this works better and has two different additional streams. I also get better reception!
If you would have paid for this, think of subscribing to this non commercial station.

Since I got my original iPhone on the second day it was available, I had been waiting for this app to be streaming. Although I have alot of radio apps, to have a dedicated and free this app is really great with a simple interface and all 3 FUV streams. 5 stars for me.

Dead app?

This app had worked wonderfully on my iPhone but I decided to stick to the NPR app since space is limited on my iPhone. Time passed as I've been gifted an iPad, so I tried out the NPR app and it's HORRIBLE on the iPad. The iPhone version is better, but it's still not that functional. So I've tried to come back and use the official this app app and it seems to be dead. I click it, the load screen opens and the. It disappears. Double tap on the home button, find the app running in the background, pull it up to the front and still nothing. The last time I tried the website streaming didn't work on my tablet. It seems like the tech end of this app is nit up to par. That could be lack of funding or people not paying attention.

I've had this app for a while now - almost two years. I've dealt with the freezing, the buffering, and the stopped-to-buffer-then-forgot-to-restart-ing because this app is a great station, and it's what I listen to during my commute.
Now, the app won't even open. It flashes like it's going to open, then crashes and closes itself. I've tried restarting my phone and re-downloading the app, but all to no avail.
*Please* fix this app. I want my this app back.
