1. Use the information from your staff to help pick the team, deal with injuries and suspensions, whilst fending off the opposition from poaching your players.

2. Football Guv'nor ( formerly Soccer Manager ) allows you to take control of a top European team and guide them to league and cup success using your managerial skills.

3. Full match day statistics, commentary and real time scores from other fixtures help you during the match.

4. Qualify through playoffs, get promotion, win the premier division, qualify and win European competitions in order to fill your trophy cabinet.

5. Play pre-season friendlies to help prepare your team for the upcoming season.

The recent update is disappointing

I played this game last year. At first, the setting let us see the passing and witness the process of scoring. But now these are all gone! I don't why the company doesn't do some improvement!

*** New update has bugs fix it ASAP. I started new season and 1st euro cup game starts to load but never does, so i restarted the season and the same thing happened again. The select all button in email is also nott workin. Please fix it**** HERE IS MY REVIEW: If u r a soccer fan this game is for u, I'm on my 4th season with Real Madrid. It's very fun; buying-selling players, setting up strategy, if the misspelling of the names bothers u now u can edit them, transfer negotiation improved. I dont remember last time when this game crashed on me(untill the last game updat) What would make this game even better is; 1. To be able to include $ and a play in transfers, in exchange for the desired player, 2. Player stats r not up-to-date, 3. At the end of the season to be able to chose to stay with the current team or to go manage any other team, 4. To be able to chose sponsors, jersey brand, TV channel that will broadcast ur games, ticket pricing, food & beverage pricing, parking, get paid for interviews 5. Players should have a popularity meter and if is high than more of their merchandise will be sold, and record should be kept what of theirs was sold and how much $ team made on him 6. In transfer period all leagues should be searchable for players, 7. More strategy options (playin style etc.) That is for now. Thanks for reading. Can't wait for a new update
