Install Oxford Deluxe (ODE and OTE) app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Ox"
The search will reveal the Oxford Deluxe (ODE and OTE) app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Ox is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Ox.
Now enjoy Ox on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Ox" » then Click "Install".

I purchased the Oxford Deluxe way back in the day and although it was quite expensive, it was a worthy investment. It's still the best and most comprehensive dictionary & thesaurus app. Thankfully, it's still updated on occasion and looks great on my iPhone 11.

If you want a basic dictionary - there are many cheap or free alternatives. I was looking for a few weeks for something like this, but could not find it right away. I was considering buying The American Heritage dictionary (also by Enfour) and actually stumbled upon this app. In my opinion, if you want the best content Oxford is the way to go. This version is unabridged and includes a thesaurus. The books cost much more than this app - and you can keep this one in your pocket. Something that I wanted to point out to people who are considering this: Obviously the content is amazing, but on the software front Enfour really does an amazing job. It feels native - you can switch from thesaurus to dictionary very quickly and it is very stable. When I first opened it I thought the background was ugly when looking at a list of words. The settings have an option to turn it off, so I did. When it was a plain white background I decided it was perfect. As stated earlier, Enfour also make an American Heritage dictionary that is very well respected and well reviewed - and that version costs less, but for me Oxford Deluxe was the way to go. I say if you're looking for a great dictionary app on your iPhone, check out their products first. Highly recommended.

This app has ads!! It costs $40 and it has ads! In the past Apple had to kick these greedy B******* (watch my language) out, because they violated App Store rules multiple times and now they are pushing ads! On top of that, the interface is dated, pixelated and ugly. Avoid at all costs!
Worth Every Penny! But Please Add Landscape Mode!

This app is by far the best investment you can make (aside of course from purchasing an iDevice); however, this app would be even better if landscape mode was enabled for easier viewing. I am jailbroken and use FullForce to view this app in full scale on my iPad. It works perfectly! (at least until iPad compatibility is enabled officially) Also, if you want the most from this app, download the Oxford Deluxe Plugin for ActionMenu. With it you will be able to look up the definition of any word, in any app, simply by highlighting a word and selecting "Oxford" from the pop-up menu. It utilizes the API allowing words to be sent to Oxford Deluxe in one fell swoop, making this dictionary easily accessible from any app! Love it! But sometimes I am reading something on my iPad in landscape mode and when I switch to Oxford Deluxe, it is annoying having to physically rotate the device in order to read the definitions. Please fix this. And thank you for building this app. And if you haven't purchased it yet, do it! This is Oxford! The definitions from other dictionaries cannot be trusted to provide the most precise, nuanced word descriptions necessary to be an artful communicator of the wonderful English language. Support this dev and support Oxford!
