Software Features and Description

1. With HealthKit support, when you complete a workout log, FitnessBuilder will ask your permission to use your body weight, workout difficulty and duration to calculate the estimated caloric burn, and post it to the Health app as a workout.

2. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.

3. FitnessBuilder 5 supports HealthKit for tracking workouts, your estimated calories burned and your My Stats body measurements.

4. Subscriptions may be managed by you and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the your Account Settings after purchase.

5. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

6. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a Plus Pro or PT subscription.

7. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

8. Schedule workouts in the future, receive scheduled workouts from trainers and get guided on month-long programs.

9. You can still use FitnessBuilder until Oct 31, 2021.

10. After that date the app will no longer be available.

  1. Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
    Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

  2. Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
    On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

  3. Using FitnessBuilder on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
    • Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FitnessBuilder"
    • The search will reveal the FitnessBuilder app icon. Open, then click "Install".
    • Once FitnessBuilder is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FitnessBuilder.
    • Now enjoy FitnessBuilder on PC.

  4. Using FitnessBuilder on Mac OS:
    Install FitnessBuilder on your Mac using the same steps for Windows OS above.

  1. Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
    • Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
    • After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

  2. For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
    • Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

  3. Installing FitnessBuilder:
    • Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
    • Search for "FitnessBuilder" » Click "Install" to install FitnessBuilder

    I bought this app to use on my watch. It is so flaky, one has to wonder if the developer has any background or is just another amateur. I build my own workouts - they have zillions to chose from on all kinds of equipment. It is annoying that one must scroll through so many exact duplicates. The more serious issues are with the watch app. You must have your phone nearby for the watch to work. The refresh often doesn’t work unless I reboot my watch. The rest timer is very inconsistent. You can change weight and rest time but not reps. The add exercise button doesn’t work. Ever heard of quality control?
  • Great fitness app

    I’ve been using this app for years and I love it. I do have some gripes about the auto schedule feature seems wonky. Doesn’t seem to adjust correctly if I’m scheduling a workout routine that has week one is 1/2, R, 3/4 then wk2 1/2, 3/4/5, etc. Not a huge issue since the app tracks your last workouts so you know what’s next. I would love a feature where I can substitute exercises while in a workout. Once and a while, a workout routine calls for equipment I don’t have in my gym or I may not be comfortable with the exercise in the routine. While I can adjust this on the fly, it kinda messes up logging. The purist in me dies a little when I fake logging.
  • Little improvements could make this so much better

    Pros: lots of variety. Videos w associated audio description is helpful. Plans provide good structure for overall program. Easy to construct a routine. Cons: to get back to main screen, you have to keep hitting ⬅️ button..there should be just one quick main screen button. Same when in scheduler...just a lot of needless clicks. Still no landscape mode for iPad, would be easier because could prop it up instead laying flat. I’d like to modify the including routines without having to duplicate them every time. Wind up w a cluttered “my workouts” list.

    The app has been freezing up after the latest IOS 11 update and has to be restarted continually in order for it to work.
