Install Dictate + Connect Lite app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

The search will reveal the Dictate + Connect Lite app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Dictate + Connect Lite is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Dictate + Connect Lite.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Dictate + Connect Lite,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Dictate + Connect Lite" » then Click "Install".
- Dictate + Connect Lite will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Works Great

I downloaded this demo to test the full fledged application. I the app a lot of reports every year (100's) and have tired of the purpose built dictation recorders by companies such as Olympus. After spending $200 for a recorder and $70 for an external microphone from blue parrot, I am struck with the poor quality of the sound. This sounds great. Using the iphone's built in microphone the sounds is 100 times better than my Olympus. I am buying the full fledged version. Certainly, the files are going to be larger than DSS files, but the sound is better and they could easily be converted to MP3. I even tried the app with my iPhone ear buds by Etymotic. Sound quality was great.

Excellent program but only useful to evaluate the paid program as you can only record for 30 seconds. The paid program is the only one out there that I know of that resembles a real dictaphone
Versatile, and easy to use

I've trialed about 5 different dictation packages so far. This one floats to the top. Very intuitive interface. Speech activated, w/excellent voice quality. Support response to questions was excellent.
Could be simplified

Lots of great features but could be so much better if there was a one-touch send to workflow option. This would allow easy record/send. Even one more button to press make the app less than efficient. Otherwise a great application!
