What is License Plate? LicensePlate is a mobile application that provides information about the region where a car is registered based on its license plate. It also offers links to the maps application to show the location of the car and to provide directions. The app has license plate shortcuts for several countries and a global full-text search feature. Users can also mark and collect license plates they have seen on the street.

Software Features and Description

1. In many countries - especially in europe - you will find a special character combination on a license plate that tells you where a car is coming from or gives other informations about the car.

2. LicensePlate comes with car license plate shortcuts of several countries, from which you can choose very fast and intuitive (see country list below).

3. It shows informations about the region where a car is registered and links to the maps application, so that you can see on the map where the car is coming from and use the maps application to let it show you the way to that specific location.

4. A global full text search or simple search for plate keys is another part of LicensePlate.

5. Once you've spotted a plate you can mark it and build up your collection of plates you've seen on the street.

Using License Plate on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "License Plate"
The search will reveal the License Plate app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once License Plate is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including License Plate.
Now enjoy License Plate on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use License Plate,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "License Plate" » then Click "Install".
- License Plate will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Great application but apparently...

...some buyers are too dumb to understand that this app lists European the app plates only. Giving this app a one star rating because you didn't "get it" is really stupid, sorry to say that. Especially since it seems to work great.
Great for long highway trips

This app is really great for long trips on the highway through Europe. You can mark the app plates as seen and see on the map from where the car came from. Depending on the country, there are regional or even special the app plates, like diplomatic ones. I have been using this app for two years now and still, I've only seen 25% of Germany's the app plates! All in all, this app is great to use 👍 It's fast, stable and user-friendly.

Missing countries

Having fun using this app on the road in Europe, but it's missing several countries. Strange to have South Africa and Japan but not Albania, Bosnia, or Montenegro (which I've seen on one road trip). Also missing Malta, Macedonia, Monaco, and Moldova.
