2. As the head of the Ministry in charge of Korea’s logistics sector, I am deeply honored and delighted to host the FIATA World Congress in the international port city of Busan this year.

3. The Congress has served as a venue where global logistics and freight forwarding companies explore new strategies to navigate through an ever-changing global trade environment and promote cooperation.

4. Korea has expanded its global network of trade agreements with diverse countries, and is now utilizing the network to advance cross-border e-commerce and pioneer new markets such as cold-chain logistics.

5. The Korean government, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Busan Metropolitan City, will do our utmost for the success of the 2022 FIATA World Congress.

6. Korea has been actively involved in the global efforts to reduce green house gas emissions and promote carbon-neutral logistics as a responsible member of the global community.
