1. Use the AsteroidXR app to select, place and photograph 3D models from a library of astroids, planets and spacecraft.
2. After selecting a model from the collection, point your iPhone or iPad camera at a flat surface until the app recognizes a smooth placement position.
3. Once you select the placement location, a virtual 3D model will appear above that location in the camera view as if it was actually there.
4. More 3D models are added as they become available to the public from the space program.
5. For best performance, go to settings and select save models onto your device.
6. Post your photos on social media, and no one will know what is real and what is Extended Reality.
7. Place multiple models in fun locations around your home.
8. Make your own scenes with spacecraft navigating through your own astroid field.
9. Take mixed reality photos using the app.
